Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of pet cremation services by Buddy Global Pty Ltd with ABN 21 676 357 636 (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to you, the customer (“you” or “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this Agreement. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before proceeding.
Services and Products Provided
We offer pet cremation services (“services”), including individual cremations or communal cremations, and related products such as urns, memorial products, and certificates (“products”). The specific services and products to be provided will be agreed upon at the time of booking a service or ordering products.
What you can expect from the services are:
- Individual Cremations: Your pet will be cremated alone, and the ashes will be returned to you in the agreed-upon vessel.
- Communal Cremation: Your pet will be cremated along with other pets, and the ashes will not be returned to you.
Eligibility
Our services are available to pet owners who have a deceased pet and wish to have them cremated. By booking our services, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the pet and authorise us to perform the cremation of your deceased pet.
Where you are a third party, such as a veterinary specialist, and you are booking our services on behalf of your customer, then you warrant that you have received the authorisation from the pet owner for us to perform a cremation of the deceased pet.
Our products are available to anyone for purchase through our website.
Booking and Payment
All services must be booked either by phone, online, or in person.
Bookings for services made by pet owners must be paid in full at the time of the booking and for products at the time of ordering the products.
Payments for services and products can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods accepted by us.
Where a commercial partner such as a veterinary clinic has an account in good standing with us, then payment is due within 14 days of the monthly account statement date.
We reserve the right to refuse services and products if payment is not received in full before the scheduled cremation.
Returns and Refund Policy

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE A SERVICE HAS BEEN PERFORMED, NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN RESPECT TO THE SERVICE.
Handling of Pets
We use a dedicated tracking mechanism and take all reasonable precautions to ensure the respectful and professional handling of your pet. In the event of any issues, we will promptly inform you.
If a pet is too large or difficult to transport using our standard transport capabilities or if the premises are not easily accessible, additional charges may apply.
Delivery of Services and Products
The provision of services and delivery of products will be defined by our Shipping Policy which can be found here.
Once the ashes and/or memorial products are delivered to you, you assume responsibility for their care.
Disclaimer and Liability
Our liability for any loss or damage to a pet or their ashes is limited to the amount paid for the service and/or products.
We will not be held liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the cremation process, including delays, mishandling, or failure to return ashes or products in the expected condition.
We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or injuries your pet may have sustained prior to their cremation.
Indemnity
You indemnify and hold us and our related entities, affiliates, and our and their respective officers, agents, and employees, harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, proceedings, losses and damages (actual, special and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement or your breach of any law or the rights of a third party.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Confidentiality is defined by our Privacy Policy which can be found here.
Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate our services and refuse to proceed with the cremation if, in our judgment, the conditions are not suitable or if there is any risk to the health and safety of our staff.
You may terminate the services before the cremation begins; however, the deposit or payment may not be refundable, depending on the circumstances.
Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or territory in which we are located, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state or territory.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to you directly. The updated Terms and Conditions will apply to any services booked after the revision date.
