Meet the Buddy team
We’re a family-owned business, founded after years of working globally in the human funeral industry. Through that work, we had the privilege of meeting incredible people who offer care and support during life’s most difficult moments – and they deeply inspired us.
As pet parents ourselves, we wanted to create a service that honours our beloved pets with the same thoughtfulness and respect we extend to people.

Thoughtful innovation, built from experience
Our time working in the human funeral industry taught us a great deal. We saw how much grieving families value empathy, honesty and flexibility. We also saw how powerful technology can be in helping people navigate difficult decisions, especially when their minds are elsewhere.
That experience has shaped the way we approach pet aftercare. We’re focused on using technology in ways that feel intuitive and helpful – streamlining the process, improving your options and allowing more space for personal choice.
